Kingsmead staff are highly qualified, with a wealth of experience in the care of nursery children. The qualifications held by our staff include:
- NNEB
- DPP
- NVQ 4
- NVQ 3
- NVQ 2
Some of our staff have been at Kingsmead since the nursery opened in 1995 delivering continued high levels of care and child development and our turnover of staff is exceptionally low.
All our staff are kept updated with first aid training and basic food hygiene. There is also a continuing programme of training both internally and externally. Each employee must undertake continued professional development as part of their contract of employment.

- Manual handling
- Managing children's behaviour
- Music
- Indoor/Outdoor play
- Heuristic play
- Birth to 3 matters
- Early Years Foundation Stage
All staff have been registered and checked by O.F.S.T.E.D. and C.R.B. Information about each staff member's qualification can be viewed in the nursery.
