Kingsmead Day Nursery Chandler's Ford is situated in a quiet established residential area. It is ideally situated away from a busy road in a safe and secure environment and parking is convenient when dropping off or picking up. There is quick access to the M3, with a junction close by linking the M27.

The property stands in a large garden that is secluded and secure with a combination of high boundary walls and fencing. There are three different play areas, a grass area, a hard surface area for rolling equipment and a woodland section, all with playing equipment.

Continuous provision is maintained here at Kingsmead; we ensure that we provide the same level of materials and activities outdoors as well as indoors. Parents supply waterproofs and wellington boots ensuring that we can use the facilities in all weathers.

We cater for children from three months to 5 years of age. The nursery units are divided according to age and are fully equipped to meet their ever developing needs. As the nursery exclusively offers 36 places, full time and part time, we feel that we can offer a comforting family environment for your child.

At Kingsmead we promote equality of opportunity for children with special needs and their families. We seek to broaden and deepen children's experiences by incorporating all six areas of learning by the time they reach 5 years of age. We plan our programme to extend the children's experience and knowledge of other cultures, languages and celebrations. We monitor our practice and have regular meetings to discuss and decide how to improve our practice and procedure.

Prior to children commencing nursery we arrange a minimum of two visits to help the child adjust to the nursery environment. Once the child starts, parents are welcome to contact or visit the nursery at any time.
